Complications In Liposuction Surgery

Undergoing liposuction procedure, as with other surgeries, presents certain risks during the post-operation stage. There are even mortality reports in the early history of liposuction. In most instances, the surgeon is always prepared to contain some of the risks like adverse reaction to the solutions or drugs administered during the lipo treatment. Lipo incisions are also prone to infections. In some cases, patient will experience thromboembolism and fat embolisation although the risk is minimal but it should not be disregarded. The worst of all the risks is organ damage. The surgeon could not see the organs during the insertion of cannula. In this instance, damage can be surgically corrected but still fatal.
